Frequently Asked Questions

If you can not find the answer to your question here please contact us.

Where are my tickets?

Tickets are usually mailed out within 3 days of making your booking. If you have not received them 14 days after booking, please contact our Box Office on 0131 228 1155. If you book within 7 days of the concert, tickets will be available for collection only. Please arrive in the Box Office at least 30 minutes before the concert to collect them.

What does 'Doors 7pm' mean?

For some concerts, rock and pop in particular, we are only given a 'doors open' time by the promoter. This indicates when you can start arriving for the concert. It does not refer to the start time of the event. Often this information is only available on the day of the concert. If you do wish to know when the support and main act are performing, please contact the Box Office, 0131 228 1155 on the day of the concert.

What are the concert timings?

If you need to know the approximate end time for your concert in order to arrange taxi collection, please call the box office after 2pm on the day of the concert. We only know the running order of the concert once the performers have arrived in the Hall to set up.

Why are concessions not available at some concerts?

The Usher Hall aims to be open, accessible and affordable for all. Concession prices are available for certain performances. Please ask when you book or check online. Booking fees may apply for certain shows and can vary. A transaction charge of £1 applies to telephone and online bookings.

How can I be sure of a clear view?

If you book via telephone to the Usher Hall box office, you will be told if seats have a limited view or are difficult to access. Limited view seats tend to be located in the sides of the Upper Circle. The Usher Hall cannot guarantee you will be given appropriate information on the view from your seat if you book via a ticket agent.

Is there a lost property service?

Please contact our Front of House department on 0131 221 6337 (if no-one is there to take your call please leave a voicemail and we will call you back as soon as possible.) or email the Front of House dept
