How to book

By phone – call us on 0131 228 1155. Online – simply select 'Book Now' beside your chosen concert. In person – the box office is open from 10am to 5.30pm, Monday to Saturday. By post – Write to us at Usher Hall Box Office, Lothian Road, Edinburgh, EH1 2EA and make your cheque payable to ‘The City of Edinburgh Council’.

Concessions and booking fees

The Usher Hall aims to be open, accessible and affordable for all. Concession prices are available for certain performances/age restrictions may vary. Prices are listed on the event page in the brochure or online. Please ask at time of booking. Not all concessions/offers can be made available online.

Concessions usually apply as follows;
Young people (max. age can vary), Full-time students, Unwaged, People in receipt of state pension (and/or between the ages of 60/65), Disabled people and companions, Group discount

Booking fees may apply for certain shows and vary according to ticket price. A transaction charge of £1 applies to telephone and online bookings.

Payments

We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Maestro. Cheques should be made payable to ‘The City of Edinburgh Council.’ Some events are subject to a credit card charge or additional booking fees.

Refunds and exchanges

Many of the events at the Usher Hall are promoted by external companies. This means we must abide by their policies on refunds, exchanges, lost tickets etc. It is not usually possible to refund or exchange tickets but where possible we will accommodate such requests up to 24 hours in advance of the event, subject to charges.
