The Usher Hall re-opens in August 2009 with new and upgraded facilities, including a new cafe/bar and box office; function spaces overlooking Edwardian architecture, with lifts to all levels - offering greater accessibility.

The Usher Hall offers versatile and flexible spaces for all types of promotion. From Concerts to Comedy, Conferences to Awards Ceremonies, Films with live music to meeting spaces. We can cater to your needs.

We are the traditional Edinburgh home of the Royal Scottish National Orchestra, and one of the biggest classical music venues hosting the Edinburgh International Festival for 3 fun-filled weeks every August. We also hosted the fantastic BBC Radio 3 Awards for World Music in March 2004. Past events also include: Oasis, The Flaming Lips, Erasure, Goldfrapp, Jan Garbarek, Lincoln Center Jazz Orchestra, Billy Connolly, The Dalai Lama, Gotan Project, Kate Rusby, Scottish Chamber Orchestra, BBC Scottish Symphony Orchestra...to name a few...
