The Usher Hall is committed to complying with the Data Protection Act (1998) and to uphold the principles of good information handling practice.
Your personal information
If you use our online booking service, we will request information essential to process your transaction - such as name and address and payment details.
In addition, if you would like to be kept informed of our events, news and offers we think will be of interest to you, you have the option to supply your e-mail address.
Using Personal Information
The Usher Hall will contact you regarding your transaction if there is a problem or clarification is required.
Your IP address
An IP address is a globally unique identifier of your computer, multiple users of the same computer will share the same IP address. In most cases your ISP (or network server, if a business user) will allocate an IP address for the duration of your online session. The Usher Hall may track your domain name or IP address to assist our efforts in monitoring general usage. IP addresses are never shared with third parties.

Site Security
Security measures have been employed to protect against the loss, misuse or amendment of information entered into this site. All personal information is encrypted, so that it cannot be read in transit.
Conditions of Sale
- The Management reserves the right to refuse admission and on occasion conduct security searches to ensure the safety of patrons.
- The Management reserves the right to change artist(s) and substitute or cancel any performance.
- Latecomers will not be admitted until a suitable break. If there is no suitable break admission will be refused.
- The Usher Hall operates a No Smoking policy.
- The use of cameras, video or audio equipment is forbidden.
- Many of the events at the Usher Hall are promoted by external companies. This means we must abide by their policies on refunds, exchanges, lost tickets etc. This means it is not always possible to refund or exchange tickets. Where possible we will accommodate such requests up to 24 hours in advance of the event, subject to charges.
- All telephone bookings are subject to a charge of 75p per transaction.
- All online transactions are subject to a £1 Online Transaction Fee. This covers the cost of providing online booking which we feel is a valuable service to our audience as well as postage and credit card charges.
- Unpaid reservations made by telephone or at the counter will be held for 5 working days before being released for sale.
- Please check your tickets immediately on receipt and keep in a safe place. Direct sunlight or heat may damage tickets and make them unreadable.
