The course aims to:
Provide participants with core knowledge and the opportunity to develop skills in fulfilling their role as club child protection officer
Help clubs implement practices and procedures to keep children and young people safe.
By the end of the workshop participants will be able to:
Describe the role of the child protection officer and the relationship with key personnel in child protection.
Identify and plan action required by the club to protect children and young people.
On completion, attendees will receive a certificate. Participants attending this workshop should have ideally attended ‘Safeguarding and Protecting Children’ or equivalent.
