Praised for its acoustics the Usher Hall is one of the best concert halls in Europe with many of the world's finest musicians performing here. The Usher Hall is the city's key venue for visiting national and international orchestras and has been the main venue for the Edinburgh International Festival since 1947. Today the Usher Hall embraces the widest range of music and events, including rock, pop, jazz, world, blues, comedy, talks, conferences and recording sessions.

Some of the biggest names in entertainment have appeared at the Usher Hall, including Oasis, Stereophonics, Jamie Cullum, Bjork, Paul Weller, Buena Vista Social Club, Billy Connolly, Status Quo, Muse, Billy Bailey, Ibrahim Ferrer, Michael Bublé and many more.


The main auditorium can accommodate seating for 2200 | standing for 2900 | cabaret for 1971 | banquet for 600.  Other facilities include nine dressing rooms, production office, 19.3m wide stage, stage extension, kitchen, a Kemble upright piano and two Steinway Concert Grand pianos.  In addition to this we have a range of flexible spaces available, including an array of function suites, bars, and meeting rooms.
