Conditions of sale

The management reserves the right to refuse admission and on occasion conduct security searches to ensure the safety of patrons.

The management reserves the right to change artist(s) and substitute or cancel any performance.

Latecomers will not be admitted until a suitable break. If there is no suitable break admission will be refused.

The majority of the events at the Usher Hall are promoted by external companies. This means we must abide by their policies on refunds, exchanges, lost tickets etc. This means refunds and exchanges are not permitted, unless an event is cancelled or we receive a specific instruction from the promoter of the event.

If the payment was made by cash, cheque or any other method the refund will be sent to you as a cheque. We do not issue cash refunds.

We cannot issue refunds or exchanges after an event has passed due to non attendance.
In the event a show is cancelled, patrons will be issued with at least the face value of the ticket. Per ticket booking fees charged in addition to the ticket face value may not always form part of the refund.

All telephone and online transactions are subject to a non-refundable £2.00 transaction fee.

Unpaid reservations made by telephone or at the counter will be held for 5 working days before being released for sale.

Tickets for unreserved seating or standing events cannot be reprinted. Reprints for seated tickets are at the discretion of management.

If exchanges are allowed a fee may be applicable.

We reserve the right to refuse ticket collections to patrons who cannot provide reasonable identification.

When purchasing/collecting a discounted ticket, patrons must provide adequate proof of concession on request.

Where a special offer applies after sales have started retrospective discounts cannot be applied to existing bookings.

To assist the seat selection process, our online booking service displays information on selected seating: for example limited and restricted view seats. Purchase of such tickets online indicates acceptance of these features.

Management reserve the right to cancel bookings which are reasonably believed to have been booked under fraudulent circumstances.

Management reserve the right to cancel bookings which have been transferred from the main booker, on events where it is specified that the main booker must be in attendance.
Management reserve the right to refuse to process exchanges and advance bookings on the evening of a performance. This is to ensure the performance and patrons are not delayed.

Please check your tickets immediately on receipt and keep in a safe place. Direct sunlight or heat may damage tickets and make them unreadable.

The Usher Hall operates a No Smoking policy.

The use of cameras, video or audio equipment is forbidden.
