Long praised for their live performances, Deacon Blue Announce are stopping at Usher Hall as part of their Cities of Love Tour in support of their latest release.
The album, City of Love, is the fourth release of a prolific seven-year period for Deacon Blue. Their last three albums returned the band to the Top 20 of the UK album charts, the most recent posting at No 12, giving them their highest charting album in 23 years.
This has fuelled a creative resurgence which returned the band not only to mainstream radio playlists, but also back into the sort of venues befitting the stature of a chart-topping legacy boasting 7 million album sales, two number one albums and 14 hit singles.

The following exemptions apply for vaccine status checks:
* under 18s (you may be asked to provide proof of age)
* participants in vaccine trials
* people who cannot be vaccinated for medical reasons (you must provide a medical exemption certificate).
What do I need to provide to gain entry using a lateral flow test?
Show a negative LFD test result from the last 24-hours, by presenting an official text or email from the NHS. Can you report your LFD test results by visiting: nhsinform.scot/covidstatus
The vaccine certification scheme and lateral flow testing does not replace other COVID safety measures detailed below; Visitors are still expected to wear face coverings when attending events in accordance with Government guidelines.
